A pictorial record of Lt. Cmdr. Zachary Lansdowne, a Greenville, Ohio native who was a renown aviator of his time.  Lansdowne and thirteen members of his crew were killed in the crash in Noble County, Ohio in 1925.  At the time, the airship was America’s first rigid dirigible.  It was making a cross-country publicity tour at the time of the crash. The bookmark is another exclusive design made expressly for Garst Museum celebrating another famous native son.
