In this book by John F. Winkler looks at the War of 1812 as fought in the Northwest Frontier in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. Famous participants included William Henry Harrison and the Shawnee chief, Tecumseh. Tecumseh had refused to sign the Treaty of GreeneVille in 1795. After his death during the Battle of the Thames, the native confederacy he had formed over the years dissolved and as a result increased the settlement of the Northwest Frontier in the years that followed. Softbound with 96 pages including recommendations for further reading and an index, the book measures about 7” by 10”.
