This Osprey publication is another by author, John F. Winkler, exploring the Revolutionary War on the Ohio River Frontier. Legendary names of the early westward looking settlers include Daniel Boone, Simon Kenton, and Colonel George Rogers Clark. On the Native American side were Black Hoof, Buckongahelas, and Simon Girty. The Peckuwe battle ground is the present-day site of the George Rogers Clark Park and is located near Springfield, Ohio in Clark County. The book includes suggestions for further reading and index and measures about 7” by 10”.
