This CD contains 25 musical pieces recorded for the film, Opening The Door West, which tells the story of how the Ohio Company of Associates organized the first American settlement in the Northwest Territory.  The reconstructed musical selections include orchestral, choral, fiddle, Native American Indian and African American tradition music.  Produced by Shelburne Films.
