Author, Aaron Keirns, chronicles the development of rigid airships in the United States Armed Forces and the consequences that followed the crash of the USS Shenandoah piloted by Greenville native, Cdr Zachary Lansdowne in September, 1925 near Ava, Ohio.  Photographs of the crash site and documents related to the crash are included in the more than 100 photographs in the book.  This is the 2010 soft-bound edition.  It measures 8x10 inches.
