**Important Garst Museum Construction Notice for November 30 - December 5, 2026**
The main concrete accessibility ramp and upper stair replacement for the Lowell Thomas Meeting Room is scheduled for November 30 through December 5, 2026. As a result, this entrance will be closed during this period. The Garst House front entrance will also be closed.
During this time, all foot traffic will be directed to the temporary entrance and exit to the Village Wing.
An accessibility ramp will be available at the Village Wing entrance. This entrance is located just northwest of the parking lot, north of the brown garage building. Directional signs will be posted outdoors to direct patrons to the temporary entrance/exit. This entrance is farther away from our parking lot than our normal accessible entrance.
On Tuesday, December 1, 2026, the Garst Museum will open at 11:00 am and resume normal hours on Wednesday, December 2. Weather permitting, the museum should return to normal operations by December 8, 2026.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. However, if the weather cooperates, this should last only one week.
