Garst Museum COVID-19 Policies (Updated March 01, 2022)

As a public venue, the Garst Museum is closely following the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) recommendations from the CDC, Ohio Department of Health, and local health officials. The safety and health of our patrons, staff, and volunteers are forefront in our COVID-19 policies. The Garst Museum is OPEN to the public! Garst Museum Covid-19 policies updated March 01, 2022, include:
Masks:
All unvaccinated patrons are encouraged to wear masks throughout their time in the museum.
All fully vaccinated patrons are not required to wear masks while visiting the museum.
School tours larger than 10:
All children age 12 and under are encouraged to wear masks throughout their time in the museum.
The Garst House entrance is currently closed:
The temporary admissions station is located in the Lowell Thomas Meeting Room, located directly off the parking lot.
The temporary location will continue in use until the Garst House porch renovations are completed later this year.
The Darke County Research Center is open to the public:
Researchers can make requests by phone (937-548-5250) or via email at genealogy@garstmuseum.org.
School Tours:
Docent-led school tours are not available at this time.
Teacher or self-guided tours, limited to 50 students per tour, are available.

Commercial Adult Tours:
Docent-led commercial tours are available on a limited basis. Please call for information.
Social distancing is encouraged throughout the museum
The Garst Museum is closed on Sundays and Mondays
Our current operating hours are: Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
The Garst Museum Store is open for in-person shopping
The Garst Museum Online Store is able to take and ship orders.
